Women’s Style Forecast: Rain Accessories
There are two accessories every woman should own, they are: stylish rain boots and an umbrella.
My early years were spent dodging the Seattle rain, never realizing the fashion opportunities I was missing. Seattleites seem to take a certain pride in not using an umbrella and relying on the practicality of a North Face hood. Because it rains so much there, they must know best, right? Wrong.
Since moving to California nearly seven years ago, I have adopted a love/hate relationship with the rain. I love it because I have a reason to finally wear chic, cold weather attire, and hate it because complaining how much you detest the rain is part of being a Californian.
They forecast showers for the rest of the week; so ladies, please save the neoprene for surfers and Seattleites, and think of this as a very good reason to go shopping!
