Portugal. The Man at The Independent
Last night’s performance by Lonely Forest and Portugal. The Man at The Independent concluded the national Jagermeister Music Tour and man, it was epic. At first, the decor resembled a high school dance; however, cheesy plastic balls soon morphed into an intense light show once Portugal. The Man took the stage.
Originally from Wasilia, Alaska and now based out of Portland, Oregon these guys know how to up the energy. Lead singer, John Gourley was refined, but thankfully Zachary Carothers’ on-stage charisma was contagious and kept the audience engaged throughout their set.
